Support Workers – Children and Young People

Due to continued expansion, Trinity Care Group are looking for a further 6 reliable, professional, and caring Support Workers for immediate starts providing support for children and young people,
We are looking for Support Workers to cover ongoing roles and have regular work available with shifts ranging from 12 hrs (days and/or nights) through to 24 hr live-in over several days. The positions offer flexible contracts and are based out of our Head Office in Altham, Accrington.
You need to have availability of at least 3 days per week with preference given to people who can commit for 5 out of 7 days.
We provide bespoke support services for children with complex needs; as such you must have recent experience of looking after children (particularly those aged 13-17) with emotional, behavioural, or mental health conditions, you will need to be compassionate, calm, resilient and understand the issues and challenges such children face.
It is preferred you have your own transport to get to and from our Head Office in Altham, it is essential however that you have a clean driving licence together with at least 2 years proven driving experience and are aged over 21 for vehicle insurance purposes as some assignments are providing a safe and reliable driving service to and from courts, police stations and hospitals.
Whilst Trinity provides full paid training; it would be beneficial if you have qualifications in childcare together with an understanding of current regulations, particularly around care for children and OFSTED.
Due to the nature of the work, you will need an enhanced DBS and be registered on the online update service or be able to complete the process for an enhanced DBS. References, right to work and address checks will also be carried out as part of the vetting process.

The roles are not suitable if –
- you have only ever worked with pre-school/nursery children
- you do not have a clean driving licence
- you do not have at least 3 full days availability every week
- you are looking for a permanent position
